When I founded Equity Performance Equine, I didn’t venture to build the same practice we’ve seen, I had a vision to do things differently. I wanted to create a practice that provided excellent care for horses and riders, and also one where veterinarians and staff could thrive. For too long, equine practices have relied on restrictive contracts, long hours with no value placed on balance. I believe the opposite is true—when you create a supportive culture, share in success, and value balance and independence, people choose to stay, are happier and provide better care.

At Equity, our values are clear: empathy, respect, humor, adaptability, and excellence. We believe in family and in living well. We believe in giving veterinarians a voice in the practice and a stake in its future. And above all, we believe that when we put horse, rider and our people first, the rest follows.
